Queen Elizabeth I

by Cameron

I learned about Queen Elizabeth and how her life began and ended. She was born in 1533. Her cousin was Queen of Scotland. Her cousin’s nickname was “Bloody Mary.” Mary was her real name. Elizabeth was Queen of England. She was a good Queen who loved and ruled her people so well. The people Elizabeth met gave her sweet gifts such as cakes and flowers because she was nice.

Early in the morning of March 24, 1603, Elizabeth died. Queen Elizabeth lived to be older than any other English ruler. She died before she could choose her successor. Her successor was Mary’s son, James VI of Scotland. Her throne was taken and in its place, sat King James VI of Scotland.
